Andrew F. Branca is an attorney and the internationally recognized expert on self-defense law. Andrew consults on criminal cases nationally and teaches self-defense law to police, tactical instructors, and civilians. I'm still reading it (about 1/4 of the way through) and so far I would be giving it 5 Stars but I must agree with other reviews I've seen. I can't believe how many grammatical and spelling errors there are (or is it "there is"? Lol - I'm no pro.) I'm not a very good reader or speller and I usually just skip over errors without a thought but... I can't help but sigh out loud every time I come across an error at this point in the book because there is an abnormal amount that is very odd to find in a published book. I'm far from picky and am usually the first to defend those that make mistakes but, for those that have purchased and read this book, you have to admit, it's a bit surprising that a college educated/attorney/ Professional would allow something of this caliper to go out to the public. Maybe it helped keep the cost down by not having professional editing done. Anyways, I'm glad I bought the book. And very thankful that Andrew Branca took the time to write it and provide it to us as an educational resource so that we can better protect ourselves, family, and community. Andrew, I hope you keep putting it out there for us, with or without errors.

I'm not a reader. My mind tends to wander while reading most books; which makes it difficult to follow. "The Law of Self Defense" was definitely an exception! It is very informative. I found myself thinking "I've never thought about it that way before" and "very clever," several times. This book explains legal jargon in a way that is easy to understand without making the reader feel like a dummy. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and learned a lot while reading it. I've marked several pages and taken lots of notes from the material so that I may share with my gun safety students and fellow instructors. I highly recommend "The Law of Self Defense."

Really love this book! This isn't a "how to" book, but gives you more insight on how the "system works." The case studies contained in the book are very insightful - and scary at times. People who legally concealed carry can benefit from this book, their seems to be a lot of gray areas in the justice system. I would highly recommend this book,.

Great content - So-so delivery

This book had some great stuff in it but it appeared to be run off on an old one-sided copier. All of the pictures are in black and white and seemed to be there only to take up space. This entire "book" could have been type written on two pages, minus the pictures. When I was done, I have to say that I was a little upset that I had to purchase this when I have gotten so much more information on the internet for free. If you can borrow it from a friend (for ten minutes, as that is how long it will take you to read), I recommend that you do that instead.

This book has printing only on the right side of the pages. Many pages have about twenty words on them (as diary entries). There is very little description of what Admiral Bird saw. Buy it only if you want a complete library of the Hollow Earth Theory.

I hoped that this book revealed us a new evidence about the inner world of the Earth, which had been concealed from us for a long time. But regret to say that it dosen't give us sufficient evident proofs about the Unkown world explored by Admiral Byrd.
