Emotional and Cute Story!

Sometimes the past hurts keep us from moving on with our lives until Fate blindsides us with True Love or some other kind of tragedy that wakes us up to see the light of a bright future and that is what reader's get and experience through the smooth visionary beautiful words of story telling with this awesome Author Lori King.

Liam and Tina's story is emotional captivating story with lots of roller coaster drama and hot steamy wolfish sex.

Sure the wolf Liam is one sexy fellow and Tina is the perfect woman physically and with attitude, but what makes this an amazing story is the emotional chemistry the characters find themselves in when they try to protect their hearts and deny facing their destinies.

Liam and Tina are both scorned with their past losses but learning to let go and trusting Fate is a journey that kept me glued to the pages. The erotic scenes are definitely hot (4 stars).

I did get furstrated at one point with Tina because I think she put up the most resistance in denying Liam's claim that she was his mate. But it was all good when the wolf bond finally took affect and she realized she couldn't be without Liam. Tina actually became more enjoyable after she was bitten.

The bantering between the secondary characters was very humorous and it was so neat to see the character's from the first book continue on with happy bliss.

I'm glad I found this series and I recommend this erotic paranormal romance to all readers who love to howl for steamy romance.

Tina & Liam - HOT

LOVED Tina & Liam's story, even more than the 1st book. I have been eagerly awaiting this 2nd installation. So much so that I was excited to receive Lori King's email telling me, yesterday, that it had been released on Kindle - finally! LOL! I bought it, literally, right after I rec'd her email.

Tina & Liam were introduced in book #1 Fire of the Wolf, as BFF of the heroine & cousin of the Alpha twins.

Poor Tina, thrown into the deep end of the pool - was introduced to shapeshifters the hard way, during the 'battle' scene of book #1. Promptly cared for and cherished by Liam who could tell by the scent surrounding her home that she was HIS. She was in danger & he didn't even know her, yet was compelled to save & protect her.

Both are somewhat damaged souls who have loved & lost before, though I will admit that Liam's story is pretty heart-breaking, while Tina should have been glad to be rid of her old fiancee - she is still overcome with guilt of what happened to him.

The constant push-pull of their dynamic was easy to understand. Neither WANTS to want the other. Neither WANTS to love someone new. Neither WANTS to lose someone, again. But they, of course, can't help but fall in love anyway.

Liam is remarkably patient with Tina, despite her rejecting him over & over again. Then again, she IS his mate. Does he have any other choice? Does Tina really HAVE to keep pushing him away from her? As in the 1st book I wanted to slap both Caroline & Tina at times & yell "Make up your damned mind, already!"

Yet, love conquers all & I felt that Liam's & Tina's coming together at the end was better written & 'more real' than the 1st book.

Keep 'em coming, Lori! They get better the further along you get. I'm really looking forward to Rafe & Ryley's story next, & then am REALLY hoping for Cash's story - that ladies man needs to fall!

Great Addition!!! Second Book in the Series

"Reflections of the Wolf" starts right after the first story ("Fire of the Wolf") ends. However, "Reflections of the Wolf" can be read as a stand-alone; although I like to read my stories in order.

Tina Jameson and her friend Caroline Trainor (see Caroline's story in "Fire of the Wolf") are rescued from a deranged werewolf by a group of werewolves from the Gray Pack.

Liam Gray is one of the wolves that rescue Tina and he knows that she is his mate. Both Liam and Tina have had heartbreak in their past and neither one wants to risk loving again. They are afraid that if they do allow themselves to fall in love, they would not be able to survive another tragedy.

Of course, once a wolf finds its mate... Well, there is no way that Liam can avoid claiming Tina!!!

This story is a roller coaster ride of emotions. Throw in an element of unknown danger for Tina and you have a great story on hand!!!

I am looking forward to the third story in the series "Legacy of the Wolf" which should be made available on Amazon either February or March.
